The best baby Yoda stuffed animal depends on whether you want a huggable plush, a compact collectible, or a pillow for lounging. The Squishmallows HugMees is best for fans who want extended arms for hugs, while the Disney Store Grogu plush suits shoppers looking for embroidered details. For a pillow-shaped option, consider the Jay Franco design; the Mattel plush has a bean-filled base for display, and the 8-inch Squishmallows is a smaller choice.

Squishmallows Grogu HugMees
This medium-sized, 10-inch HugMees plush is designed around cuddling. Its extended arms are made for hugs, and the product is described as ultrasoft. It is an official Squishmallows product, a useful detail for shoppers seeking a branded Star Wars plush.
Best for: Fans who prioritize a plush they can hold and hug. It stands out from the smaller Grogu options because its extended arms are a specific feature of the HugMees style.
Consider: The listed features emphasize softness and hugging rather than a display base or pillow shape. Choose another option if those features are your main priority.
Disney Store Embroidered Grogu Plush
This official Disney Store Grogu plush is described as soft and snuggly, with embroidered details. Its Mandalorian connection makes it relevant for fans who want a character plush tied to the series, while the embroidery gives it a distinct feature for a Star Wars stuffed-animal collection.
Best for: Shoppers who value embroidered character details and an official Disney Store product. It is a straightforward pick when those details matter more than a specified size or special shape.
Consider: The supplied product information does not state dimensions or a base structure. Compare those details on the product listing if size or display stability is important to you.
Jay Franco Grogu Pillow Buddy
This officially licensed Star Wars item is a plush pillow featuring the Mandalorian and Din Grogu. It measures 15 by 16 by 5 inches and is made from 100% polyester microfiber. The product description presents it as an option for cuddling, lounging, or decorating, with a lightweight feel for year-round comfort.
Best for: Young Mandalorian fans who want a pillow-style companion for a bed or lounge area. Its stated dimensions make it the clearest choice here for shoppers specifically seeking a larger pillow form.
Consider: Its pillow shape differs from a conventional character doll. Choose another plush if you want an upright figure or a bean-filled display base.
Mattel 8-Inch Grogu Plush
Mattel’s 8-inch plush is inspired by The Mandalorian and depicts the green character with big ears and large eyes. The product description notes that the character is called “The Child,” though many shoppers know him as Baby Yoda or Grogu. It has a soft body and a sturdy base filled with beans, and is described as suitable for cuddling or display.
Best for: Buyers who want a small plush that can also serve as a collectible display piece. The bean-filled base is its distinguishing feature among these options.
Consider: At 8 inches, it is smaller than the 10-inch HugMees and the Jay Franco pillow. Pick a larger option if you want more surface area for cuddling.
Squishmallows 8-Inch Grogu Plush
This officially licensed 8-inch Grogu Squishmallows plush is made with high-quality, ultrasoft material. Its compact size distinguishes it from the 10-inch HugMees, while its Squishmallows branding may appeal to shoppers building a collection of the same plush style.
Best for: Fans looking for a smaller Grogu plush or an officially licensed Squishmallows item. Choose it if compact size and ultrasoft material matter more than extended arms or a display base.
Consider: The listed features do not mention HugMees-style extended arms or a bean-filled base. Look at the Mattel or HugMees option if either feature is important.
