Buying Guide: Key Purchase Considerations
- Poster size and frame compatibility: Most 24×36 posters fit standard frames, but some Trends International options exceed typical dimensions. Measure your wall space before purchasing.
- Paper type and finish: Gloss and PhotoArt Gloss prints offer enhanced color and sharpness, but some buyers prefer matte finishes to reduce glare in bright rooms.
- Licensing and authenticity: Officially licensed posters typically ensure accurate artwork and quality control, which matters for collectors.
- Framing and mounting: Ready-to-frame prints are convenient, while unframed posters may require waiting for frames or custom mounting solutions.
- Display environment: Consider lighting, wall color, and room theme to select posters with colors that pop against your space.
- Budget considerations: Premium prints offer vivid color and durability; classic posters provide a budget-friendly option without sacrificing iconic design.
- Ease of installation: Lightweight posters with sawtooth hangers are simple to hang; larger formats may benefit from professional framing or wall-mount hardware.
- Collector value vs. decor: Decide if the primary goal is display appeal or long-term collection value, which can influence edition choices and licensing.
