Buying Guide: Key Purchase Considerations
- Size matters: Match the poster size to wall area. Larger rooms benefit from 24×36 or bigger; smaller spaces work well with 12×18 or 8×10.
- Framing choice: Framed options save setup time but may limit placement flexibility. Unframed prints require compatible frames or mounting solutions.
- Print quality and paper: Satin finish poster stock provides low glare; canvas prints offer richer texture and depth but may cost more.
- Installation: Consider hanging hardware included with framed options vs. the need for nails, clips, or tacks for unframed pieces.
- Licensing and origin: Officially licensed prints tend to ensure color accuracy and quality; US-made prints can assure production standards and color stability.
- Color and mood: Light, cool tones work well in bright rooms; deeper, darker tones create focal points in larger or more intimate spaces.
